WA Bike Month aims to promote and encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and for a healthier lifestyle.
There are a whole host of events happening throughout the City of Albany as a part of our Pedal Party during October!
These events are proudly supported by the Government of Western Australia through Westcycle.

STORY SCOOT by the Albany Public Library
Date: Thursday, 6 October
Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Anzac Peace Park
Ages: Suitable for ages 3+
About: Back by popular demand, lets read and ride at Anzac Peace Park!
Bring your bike, trike or scooter and helmet to join the fun. As part of the Bike Month funding from Westcycle we will enjoy a free coffee or milkshake after the event.
Please note this event will be located at PEACE PARK ALBANY on Princess Royal Drive.

GUIDED BIKE RIDE by the Albany Cycle Club
Date: Saturday, 15 October 2022
Time: 2pm
Location: Boat Ramp carpark in Little Grove
About: A free, safe and fun bicycle ride around part of the beautiful Princess Royal Harbour and through Robinson. Enjoy food and soft drinks at the end of the ride. The ride is for novice riders and those who want to get back to cycling.

THE BIG BIKE FILM NIGHT
Date: Thursday, 20 October 2022
Time: 6pm, doors open from 5.45pm
Location: Orana Cinemas Albany
About: Prepare to be inspired bike fans! The Big Bike Film Night is riding into town for the first time, on its mission bringing the best cycling short films from around the world together for you.
Showcasing their 2022 collection that has everything a cycle-centric audience could want - action, drama, humour, and plenty of inspiration; the evening is unashamedly and utterly, utterly, utterly designed and devised for the two wheel devotee!
